Founded in 2014 by Filippo Sorcinelli — Italian artist, classical musician, photographer, and designer of sacred vestments for the Vatican — UNUM is widely considered one of the most artistically uncompromising and intellectually profound niche fragrance houses in the world. An Olfactory Library of the Human Soul

Every fragrance in the UNUM collection begins where commercial perfumery ends. Each one is born from a specific artistic obsession — a photograph, an opera aria, a Gospel parable, a film, a poem, a phobia — and translated into scent with the obsessive precision of a true artist. Every bottle is crafted entirely by hand at Sorcinelli's atelier in Bologna. Every detail, unique.

The collection is structured like a musical composition — Sorcinelli describes his fragrances using musical terminology: Subject, Counter Subject, and Tail rather than the traditional Top, Heart, and Base. Because for him, fragrance is not a pyramid. It is a symphony.

LAVS — The incense of incenses. The first fragrance and eternal best seller, born from the sacred vestment atelier where UNUM itself was conceived.

Symphonie-Passion — A masterclass in vetiver, born from the moment Sorcinelli played the same organ in Rouen Cathedral that Marcel Dupré had played before him.

Io Non Ho Mani che mi Accarezzino il Volto — A tribute to photographer Mario Giacomelli and his extraordinary series of young seminarians. Two parallel incenses. One of the most artistically significant fragrances ever created.

Quando Rapita in Estasi — A tribute to Maria Callas and the aria of madness from Lucia di Lammermoor. Sacred, theatrical, and unforgettable.

Scusami — "Forgive me." The most joyful and paradoxical fragrance in the collection — vibrant cassis, plum, and rose, in a bottle scarred by the beauty of having asked for forgiveness.

Lascia ch'io Pianga — "Let me weep." A luminous floral tribute to Handel's aria from Rinaldo and the courage of pursuing absolute freedom.

Né il Giorno Né l'Ora — "Neither the day nor the hour." The 12th fragrance, dedicated to the most heightened of emotions: fear. Inspired by the Gospel of Matthew.

Chiudi gli Occhi e Poi Vedi — "Close your eyes and then you see." The 13th fragrance and the finale of the Fear Trilogy, inspired by coulrophobia — the fear of clowns — and Stephen King's Pennywise.
